COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you
ask…

Does Invisalign hurt?

Most patients feel mild pressure when starting a new set of aligners, which is a normal sign that the teeth are moving. This usually settles within a few days.

You may notice a very slight lisp during the first few days while your tongue adjusts. This is temporary and resolves quickly with regular wear.

Treatment time varies depending on your individual case but typically ranges from 6 to 18 months. Your dentist will give you a clear timescale during your consultation.

Invisalign is available for teenagers through the Invisalign Teen system. After an assessment, your dentist will confirm whether it is suitable for your child.

The cost depends on the complexity of your case. ARC Dental Surgery offers transparent pricing as well as flexible finance options to help spread the cost into manageable monthly payments.

Your smile, still yours
just straighter.
